It was originally developed as premium writing paper without a watermark or laid pattern. The paper contains 25% cotton, giving it added depth, elegance, and a soft tactile feel. Its highly satin-finished surface allows fountain pens and ballpoint pens to glide effortlessly across the page.

Alongside the classic white and ivory shades, the Rivoli collection is also available in subtle muted colours, including light blue, light grey, and soft pink.

Originally, Rivoli paper was produced at a historic paper mill in Rives, south of Lyon, France, from which it takes its name. Today, Rivoli paper is manufactured in the Netherlands to ensure consistently high quality.
